Valence Surface Technologies Blairsville, PENNSYLVANIA operating location receives Nadcap approval

BLAIRSVILLE, PA; March 30, 2023 – Valence Surface Technologies LLC (“Valence”) is pleased to announce that our Blairsville, PENNSYLVANIA operating location, Valence Blairsville (also known as H&W Global Industries) has obtained their initial Nadcap approval.

Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) is an industry-managed approach to conformity assessment of ‘special processes’. Obtaining Nadcap approvals supports the Valence strategy to increase regional capability, provide redundant capacity and supply chain risk mitigation across our North America locations.

This Valence location currently provides surface treatment to a number of U.S. defense platforms and maintains key approvals with strategic Aerospace and Defense prime contractors that include Northrop Grumman, L3 Harris, and Lockheed Martin.

Valence Blairsville provides a wide variety of metal finishing services, including anodizing, electroplating, and industrial painting, specializing in BR-127 bond primer for inhibiting corrosion in demanding environments. Valence has invested in the quality team and infrastructure at the Blairsville location to expand the applicability of coatings technologies to the commercial marketspace via Nadcap certification.

This Pittsburgh metro-area location comprises a 50,000 square foot processing facility, developed though the investment in state-of-the-art metal finishing technologies.
