Valence Surface Technologies has Appointed Aerospace Industry Finance Leader Adam Cohn as Chief Financial Officer

El Segundo, CA; September 7, 2022 – We are pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Cohn to the Valence Surface Technologies (VST) Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Adam will be responsible for all aspects of VST financial operations and will direct long-term budgetary planning and cost management to ensure alignment with VST strategic growth plans.

Mr. Cohn brings 15 years of finance leadership and transactional mergers and acquisition experience in the aerospace and defense market with a history of driving business growth and improved financial performance for complex, technology intensive businesses. Most recently, Adam was Treasurer and a Corporate Officer at TRIUMPH (NYSE: TGI), which designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs, and overhauls a broad portfolio of aerospace and defense systems and components. He was responsible for the management of global treasury operations, including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting and capital structure planning and execution. He also led mergers and acquisitions and supported strategic planning. Prior to joining TRIUMPH, Adam held various leadership roles with Chesapeake Partners and Lazard Freres, with a strong focus on building high performing work teams and ensuring strong financial performance.

Adam has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his undergraduate degree at the Robert H Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland with a degree in Finance and Economics.
